The side profile resembles a compass used for navigating the open sea. This important old-school tool is also used in design for drawing arcs and quickly checking distances.We use one all the time in our Portland Oregon workshop. This stool is sturdy and the seat is contoured for ergonomics and promoting good posture. Perfect for the workplace, restaurants, or the home. These are made by hand by craftswomen and men in our downtown studio with love and care. Large quantities are available.
