Designed in 1956, Poul Kjaerholm's elegant PK22 chair combines a barely there, brushed stainless steel frame with an unadorned natural leather seat and back. Kjaerholm was a champion of steel, considering it a fine material, equal to the wood favoured by his Danish contemporaries. The chair is also available in wicker.
